Hughes Secures Vistory With Dominant Display

Craig "The Gorilla" Hughes has taken out this years Triple Crown Championship in a dominant display.  Hughes was strong in all three legs, particularly the Townsend Sprint when his thunderous thighs were put to good use.

Former Champion Mate made a galant defence but was unable to overcome handicapping and a disrupted preparation.

Lane, never in the hunt, tried all day.

Gibson made a mockery of the handicapper and was strong throughout the event.

Great to Verna turn up for the presentation...she's a great old duck...
